Manufactured in tough polycarbonate,
Elan incorporates a dual voltage (11 5V/230V) shaver socket
that can be positioned on the left or right hand side of the shaver light simply by rotating the shaver light through 180°.
The shaver socket incorporates a double wound safety isolating transformer (2OVA)
and the pull cord on/off switch operates the 284mm 60W lamp only.
Insertion and withdrawal of the shaver plug operates the shaver socket:
allowing rechargeable shavers to be recharged without the need to have the lamp on.
Isolating lampholders ensure safe relamping.
