The UDVR is a simple way to create a versatile high specification CCTV system
with recording and remote view capability using a fairly standard PC.

Plug in up to 4 Cameras ( BNC or RCA type connections ) to the UDVR Hub
and then connect to your PC (plug and play) via the USB lead provided.

This PC ( The “Server” unit ) will become your CCTV viewing and recording system
without the need for additional monitors or recorders.

It is possible to view your cameras from other PC’s ( “Client” Units )
across a local area network or via the internet from virtually anywhere in the world .
There is no need for an EZ-UDVR module at the client PC location just load the EZ-UDVR software .
Recordings are made directly to the hard drive of the server PC
but can be controlled and uploaded to the client location.

Unlike many remote viewing solutions the EZ-UDVR does not need a fixed IP address.
Every unit has a specific serial code that allows the client software to instantly locate it.
EZ-UDVR is the perfect answer for anyone requiring a truly flexible CCTV system with
simple record, search and remote viewing capability.

It's fairly obvious that colours don't show up too well in the dark .
That's because coloured items are simply reflecting parts of the white light spectrum
and if there's no white light available there is nothing for them to reflect .
Not usually a problem as we use temporary white light sources at night when we wish to see what's around .
Ok for us but not so convenient for security cameras that need to be able to see in all conditions.

The answer lies with Infra-Red , a light source that is positioned at the very edge of the light spectrum .
Our eyes cannot see infra-red light but guess what , mono ( black and white ) cameras can .
Unfortunately colour cameras are designed to see light in pretty much the same spectrum
as the human eye and therefore cannot see infra-red light .
Most security camera applications would benefit from colour cameras during the day
but due to their physical restrictions they cannot see at night .

The IRCAMS have the answer . They are in effect two cameras in one ,
a vibrant colour camera during the day
that electronically converts to a crisp mono camera with built in Infra-Red illumination
as the light fades making sure the CCTV system automatically get's the best light available in all conditions .
IRCAM's are ready to install outside due to their weatherproof vandal resistant construction .
They are ideally suited for use with the ESP digital video recorders
however they are compatible with virtually any CCTV system .
