IQ INTELLIGENT DIMMER SWITCHES

These “IQ” dimmers are microprocessor controlled and benefit form the following features:

They fully comply with European safety legislation (BSEN 60669-2-1)
and handle overload situations by stepping down its output to the lamps until the load is reduced.

These dimmers are suitable for all applications requiring a leading edge dimmer.

The output from the dimmer switch is extremely gentle on the load and they are soft-start, thus extending lamp life considerably.

These dimmers witches are suitable for many types of load (subject to lamp/transformer manufacturers guidelines).
They can be used for:
Incandescent GLS lamps
12V Dichroic lamps (best with Telco premium low voltage transformers)
Mains Halogen lamps (GU10 etc)
Varilight dimmable low-energy CFL lamps
Wire-wound transformers

One dimmer for either mains or low voltage transformer loads

The V-Pro™ dimmer range features intelligent overload protection, short circuit protection and,
most importantly, an adjustable minimum brightness and a choice of dimming modes
so that it can be used with lamps which require leading or trailing edge dimming.
This makes the dimmer extremely versatile because it is equipped to deliver
the best possible dimming performance from a given lighting load.

V-Pro™ dimmers are suitable for 0 - 100W of LED lighting (1 - 10 LEDs), Varilight DigiFlux dimmable CFLs,
electronic low voltage transformers, mains halogen and traditional mains GLS lighting.
The dimmers also feature soft start to improve lamp life and totally silent operation.

You can dim the lights using touch control or by a remote control handset.
The V-Pro IR master dimmer switches are one way
but can be used in conjunction with V-Pro IR slave units
in a multi-way circuit (including intermediate and 2 way)
so that the lights can be dimmed from more than one location.

In this type of circuit you should use one V-Pro IR master dimmer and any number of V-Pro IR slave units
with three wires directly connecting each switch (as is usual in a 2 way circuit).

The low-priced V-Pro IR slave units are not dimmer switches
and cannot be used on their own without a master dimmer.

A touch sensitive button in the centre of the plate and a tiny lens in the centre of the button
so as to not spoil the overall look of the product.

You can dim the lights using touch control or remotely .
The master dimmer switches are one way but can be used in conjunction with slave units
