Cat6 is the TIA/EIA standard set in June 2002
and is designed to support data transmission at frequencies up to 250MHz over 100 ohm twisted pair. CAT6 Cable

This translates to more than double the information carrying capacity of Cat5e .

Realistically all new installations should be Cat6 due to the ever increasing requirements of data networks

Suitable for use with 25mm boxes
