suitable for all domestic housing installations.

Installers don't choose on specification alone. They choose on efficiency. The KF21 is engineered to reduce friction on every install – especially replacements. The Quick-Fit slide-on base aligns with 57-90mm back box spacing, covering most UK back box configurations without modification. No re-drilling. Drop it straight onto existing back boxes and move on.

The flared 150mm base plate covers existing fixing marks and surface staining left by previous alarms. No filler, no repainting, no cosmetic correction. A professional finish without the extra work. Integrated cable management keeps wiring secure and organised throughout installation. No separate pattress needed. Particularly valuable across multi-unit housing jobs where consistency matters.

KF21 is fully compatible with existing Kidde FIREX hardwired systems, including smoke, heat and CO alarms, allowing upgrades without changing system architecture.
