This 22 day solar PV training course is structured to allow you,
as a new entrant into the electrical industry to be become a Solar Panel installer
and enter what is becoming an exciting new industry.
It includes some key domestic installer courses with a weeks solar PV training.
After successfully completing this course
you will have the skills to install solar PV (Photovoltaic) panels
and a qualification that will allow you to progress and apply for MCS accreditation should you wish.
You will also be able to register onto a competent persons scheme such as Part P.
5 Day Domestic Installation Workshop: TS4U-MOD1
This 5 Day Practical Installation Electrical Course will enable you to install everything from the consumer unit to the socket and everything in between, for those with little or no electrical experience. Our most popular course!
- 4 Day Inspection & Testing City & Guilds 2392-10: TS4U-92
This entry level course is a mix of practical and theory aimed at practicing electrical installers who have not carried out inspection and testing before. It is also suitable for those with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations, such as those domestic installers new to the industry, or those working in allied trades. ie, Plumbers, kitchen fitters, landscape gardeners.
- 5 Day Part P Domestic Installers Course: TS4U-PP
This course gives you the knowledge, skills and qualifications to enable you to competently install your domestic electrical work, compliant with Part P of the Building Regulations, this course concludes with an online exam to gain your City & Guilds certificate.
3 Day City & Guilds 2382-10 (17th Edition): TS4U-82
Every practicing electrician must have their wiring regs certificate (17th Edition). This short course is classroom based, with an online test and qualifies you to obtain your 17th Edition wiring regs.
- 5 Day NICEIC Solar Panel Installation (incl. Health & Safety Module)
Our NICEIC accredited Solar PV training and assessment packaged is designed to provide experienced electricians the necessary skills for basic design, installation, commission and servicing of Solar PV systems and deliver a certificate of competence to individuals who wish to apply to join the MCS Installer Scheme. It also includes specific health and safety training for working at height, manual handling and CoSHH.
- IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
It is important to note that candidates will be required to register on a competent persons scheme and also develop a QMS manual before they can gain MCS accreditation. We will provide you with certification of competence in Solar PV installation but these other accreditation will be need to be gained independently.
