The award is made of three units which can be taken as individual courses.
- 2399-01 - Renewable Energy Foundation
The first unit will give you a broad understanding of environmental technologies. It will arm you with the knowledge and theory to give advice on suitable environmental technology systems. It will also give you the basic knowledge across a range of systems allowing you to progress and specialise in each one
2399-11 - Installing and Testing Solar PV Systems
The second unit is specific to solar PV installation. It is mainly concerned with the application of practical skills in carrying out installation and testing.
- 2399-12 - Maintenance of Solar PV systems
The third unit is specific to maintenance and servicing of Solar PV equipment
