17th Edition Wiring Regs City & Guilds 2382: (3 Days)
This 17th Edition training course is primarily aimed at practising electricians
with relevant experience, domestic electrical installers and other allied professionals
e.g. electrical engineers, contracts managers, designers, consultants, surveyors, and other related trades
needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
On this course, you will study the format, content and application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (17th Edition).
- The course is made up of eight units, relating to parts 1 to 7 of BS 7671, plus the 2008 Appendices.
These units are:
Assessment of general characteristics
Protection for safety
Selection and erection of equipment
Inspection and testing
Special installations or locations
Scope, object and fundamental principles
The course takes the form of classroom instruction, ending in a two-hour multiple-choice online exam. The exam is open book meaning that you will be able to refer to the 17th edition book throughout. There is no practical training on this course.
