The PLA kit contains two Powerline Adapters.

Powerline Adapters are a set of devices that create a wired network by using the existing mains power cables to transmit data.

This network is capable of speeds of up to 600Mbps, ideal for seamless HD video streaming.

These devices simply plug and play into any UK socket, on the same Ring main.
This allows the adapters to create a wired network between the 2 adapters, to connect two devices together.

For example connecting a DVR to a router, where installing a cable is difficult and a wireless connection is not possible.
