This Type 2 Surge Protection Device provides superior protection against Transient overvoltages, by diverting the surge to earth within <25ns, and protecting all loads/circuits connected to the consumer unit.
The compact size and single module width make it compatible for all Fortress Consumer units and Enclosures.
The kit version, BGCUA32, comes complete with a Type 2 SPD (Surge Protection Device), Neutral & Earth wires.

This range of consumer units give the flexibility of choice of incoming arrangement and with the added inclusion of an
SPD to be compliant with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671.
The terminal and busbar provide maximum flexibility and come as high integrity as standard for a combination of protected
and unprotected circuits.
Supplied with 100A main switch and the Surge Protection Device (pre-wired).
A range of RCBOs, MCBs and additional BG control devices can be fitted.
