ShieldGLAND SWA Gland Pack IP68 c/w E-Spring
The WISKA ShieldGLAND has been designed to replace a CW gland, making it easier to install and giving greater clamping and protection over standard glands. The special gasket supplied enables additional clamping on cable sizes and the unique cone can be placed differently for either use with SWA or CY/SY cables.
In addition to this, the outer protection on the gland used to replace the shroud is LSF/LSOH, with an IP68 ingress protection.
The ShieldGLAND is also supplied with a special earth spring with earth wire, which enables significant time savings on installation, in comparison to standard earth tags, whilst giving excellent earthing.

by replacing the earth tag and lock nut to provide a high integrity earth connection.
Supplied with:- Grub screw, screw / washer
*Allen key supplied with 20mm & 25mm - When purchased in qty’s of 10
- The unique cutting teeth of the earth nut bite into box wall, enabling gland to be tightened with one tool from outside.
- No extra drilling required which saves time and doesn’t compromise enclosure IP rating.
- Facilitates a direct connection for protective earthing.
- Grub screw secures nut to gland ensuring continuity especially when used with plastic enclosures even if box becomes damaged.
- Nut can be reversed with smooth side to enclosure wall and tightened from inside where required.
- May be used with a lock ring for direct earth connection to metal conduit in place of coupler & bush.
- Gives greater confidence in using armour as protective conductor.
- Solid Brass construction for use with plastic and metal enclosures.
