Produced from high-temperature pliable steel with a non-corrosive finish.
20mm-wide side-tabs can be simply folded to provide a way of containing cables for
up to 2 hours in 930°C fire conditions (when secured by a non-combustible fixing).
- Recent changes to 17th Edition (s521.11.201) require that “Wiring systems in escape routes shall be supported such that they will not be liable to premature collapse in the event of fire.” This refers to ALL cables in public areas, and is effective from 1st July 2015.
- D-Line Safe-D Clips have all been fully tested and certified by Exova Warrington Fire confirming they can hold full cable loads for 2 hours in temperatures up to 930°C to satisfy BS5839 pt1.
