Simply plug the RMT Check Plug Socket Tester into a live 13A socket and switch the socket on.
Three indicator lamps across the front of the unit provide a clear indication of a correctly wired socket.
Fault indications are quickly identified using the key on the face label.
Additional information can be found in the table provided, showing 32 wiring conditions, of which 28 are faults that require investigation.
In the event that a fault is indicated, investigation should only be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician.

Thanks to the new BUZZ-IT, there’s no more need for scrambling around, twisting your neck trying to see the lights.
It has an audible signal to tell you instantly whether or not the wiring is correct and can also be used as a fuse finder - the correct fuse is located when the buzzer stops!
If there is a problem the pattern of neon lights indicates the fault, similar to the Classic Check Plug.
Any result other than 3 indicators lit and a continuous buzzing tone shows a fault condition.
