The unit can be switched off, preventing the appliance from being turned on accidentally - for example, whilst cleaning.

This model combines a 45A DP switch and a 13A socket with the additional benefit of a built in dual USB Charger 5V DC 2.4A,
making use of what would normally be unused space.
