8 Way Consumer Unit c/w 100A Main Switch + SPD
MK Sentry Y5712SMET all metal consumer unit is fully compliant with Amendment 3 to BS 7671:2008. Supplied with 100A switch isolator. The consumer unit can be populated with up to 8 RCBOs. The K5712SMET allows for total isolation of circuits and is the best choice to achieve a 18th edition Amendment 3 installation and avoid nuisance tripping.
The metal enclosure comes supplied with a full metal DIN rail and full complement of earth and neutral terminals along with circuit identification labels providing clear understanding of outgoing ways.

- 1 x 100 Amp DP Main switch controls the entire board and allows for up to 8 x RCBO's or MCB's circuits
- Max No of MCB's or RCBO's = 8
- Full Din rail in all units will accept any modular DIN mounted devices such as bell transformers and timers
- Easily removable DIN rail - simplifying first fix
- Supporting DIN rail “T” bar - additional support to prevent bowing & twisting, also raised for improved cable routing
- Offset incomer provides additional wiring space, making mains input connection easier
- Colour coded & numbered earth & neutral terminals at top of unit for ease of wiring
- Tripod fixing holes to cope with uneven surfaces
- Additional height - 240mm - for increased wiring space
- Floating busbar system, giving maximum installation flexibility

MK Sentry Miniature Bi-directional RCBO with Type A RCD
The MK Sentry range features neutral switched type double pole RCBOs in one module format. The single module RCBOs are a combination of a Type B/C MCB and a Residual Current Device. This enables both overcurrent protection and earth fault current protection to be provided by a single unit. Miniature RCBOs are bi-directional for PV and EV installations.
This combination allows earth fault protection to be restricted to a single circuit, thus ensuring that only the circuit with the fault is interrupted
(when groups of circuits are protected by an RCD, all circuits would be interrupted under fault conditions,
which may cause unnecessary inconvenience).
The operating switch on all MK Sentry RCBOs may be locked in either the ON or OFF position
without affecting the ability of the trip mechanism to operate.
MK Sentry RCBOs feature tunnel terminals of generous capacity, with 25mm² for live supply terminals and 10mm² for live
and neutral load terminals. The neutral supply (blue) is provided via flying lead.
